Hope a few people caught my brief fire devil sticks and contact juggling play. Next time I'm finding some AC during the daytime for a real nap so i can play more at night. I've never wanted a motorhome more in my life!
But seriously mad props to the people who organized and did all the legwork. It was real nice to see some new smiling faces. -

I agree on the RV tho, it was way hot, thanks to RV hoppin' I survived the dayz.
I can't wait to do our little regional again in the spring. C ya all at the big burn!

It was wonderful to see so many friends and strangers come out and join in all the work and silliness throughout the event. Thanks for watching out for each other durning the afternoon heat waves.
You all burn so brightly in my Dark Skies 2008 memory.

Thu, June 26, 2008 - 3:11 PMAnd a hearty thank you to the participants from ME! Despite the heat, it was fun. I can only hope that next year it'll be scheduled a little earlier in the year (back to a May date?) so it'll be just a few degrees cooler. Of course, bugging out to Lake Mead for an hour or two on Saturday did provide a little relief. Gee, would it be possible to find a location right on the lake?
