JOIN US as we discuss the upcoming Dark Skies event, the art and performance that is coming out, YOUR theme camps, and the new site. With just over a month to go we have many needs and we cannot do this without YOU! So get involved! Maybe you have an art project you’re thinking about taking to the playa, tell us! Perhaps you have a performance piece or an idea how to make this the best event ever? Tell us! This is an OPEN MEETING and it is open to all so please come.
We know this is being scheduled on Mothers Day but fear not. We are going to have these meetings WEEKLY starting now through the event so if you can’t make this one by all means please come to a future meeting.
The Dark Skies Arts Festival is YOUR Burning Man regional event for southern Nevada! We are completely 100% volunteer based and driven by your participation, or as we always say; we simply cannot do this without YOU! Dark Skies is a leave no trace event and all of Burning Man’s ’10 Principals’ apply including leave no trace, no vending, radical self reliance, and radical self expression. YOU are the art at Dark Skies, this is your chance to shine!
