Another confused one here. I filled out the application, took the medical and was next in line for the 'experiment'. Alltogether I waited over 1 1/2 hours in line and finally ran out of patience.
I have to admit though that they made it so fricking mysterious that I was very determined to find out. I give them thumbs up for keeping me on the edge for al the time... perhaps that was the experiment, lol

Well I did not experience the Vortex this year, but did do it last year. Hmmm- what do I have to say about the vortex. Yup, there was an application, there was a wait, there was the suspense of anticipation, and there was no return visit this year. So, from what I remember (I was pretty drunk at the time) - they put me in the back room and had me wear a giant darth vadar helmet with earphones. I can't recall whether it was pitch black or glowing with lights (like I said - drunk + 1 year ago = not remember so well). Anyways, some voice (apparently the aliens- although I'm pretty confident it was the guy with the microphone you saw when you walked in) started asking questions "do you know why you are here" "are you prepared," etc... Then all of a sudden I was being felt up. Yeah, I do remember that. The voice told me to take my shirt off. Like the happy little follower I was, I took my shirt off. All of a sudden I was being felt up again. Suddenly I got a mental image of the guy with the microphone i passed on the way in. Thats when I kinda got weirded out. The voice then told me to take my pants off. Fuck no I said and started to take the helmet off. Sirens started to go off and the voice screamed "abort, abort." They told me I was not ready for the aliens yet - maybe next year.
